Cheryl Looney Tverberg has been a dedicated member of the Tharptown Elementary School family since 2006. She serves as the school secretary and also works in the afterschool program, playing an essential role in supporting students, families, and staff each day. With many years of experience at TES, Mrs. Tverberg is often one of the first friendly faces families see when they enter the school. Her long-standing commitment to the school community reflects her deep care for the students and the relationships she has built over the years.

Mrs. Tverberg was inspired to work in education because she wanted to be present and involved in her own children’s school lives. All of her children attended Tharptown Elementary, and she considers the school to be like family. She treasures the close-knit atmosphere and the strong connections shared among students, staff, and families. Mrs. Tverberg is the proud mother of three daughters - Meagan Rumble, Logan Nix, and Krymson Tverberg - and a loving grandmother to four grandchildren: Rhett, Xander, Evelyn, and Wayden. She is grateful to continue serving the school community that has meant so much to her family over the years.
