Stacey Gallos teaches Pre-K at Tharptown Elementary School, where she has been a dedicated team member since 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education from Athens State University and Northwest-Shoals Community College. Stacey is LETRS certified, which supports her work in building strong literacy foundations for young learners. She brings valuable life experience and a deep commitment to communication, respect, and personal growth to her classroom every day. For Stacey, teaching young children is both a profession and a calling. Her goal is not only to teach foundational skills in literacy and math, but also to help students develop character, responsibility, and compassion. She deeply appreciates the collaborative and supportive environment at Tharptown Elementary, where educators continually learn and grow together to best serve their students and community. Outside of school, Stacey enjoys spending quality time with her adult daughter, Cambridge, who continues to be the joy of her life.

Charla Lucas serves as a Pre-K teacher at Tharptown Elementary School, where she works with some of the school’s youngest learners. In her classroom, she focuses on building strong early foundations in learning through hands-on activities, play-based instruction, and meaningful interactions that support children’s social, emotional, and academic development. At Tharptown Elementary, Charla is dedicated to creating a nurturing and welcoming environment where young students feel safe, valued, and excited to learn. She works to help children develop important early skills such as communication, cooperation, and problem-solving while encouraging curiosity and a love of learning that will support their success throughout their school years.
