The Student Ambassador Program at Tharptown Elementary School offers a unique leadership opportunity for students who are passionate about representing their school and serving their community. Student Ambassadors take an active role in organizing and participating in service-learning projects, as well as assisting with a variety of school and community events.
Qualifications for Becoming a Student Ambassador
To be eligible for the Student Ambassador Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Be a current 5th or 6th-grade student at Tharptown Elementary School.

Maintain a record of academic excellence with all A’s or B’s on the previous school year’s final report card.

Have no more than five tardies in the current school year.

Maintain a perfect record of no unexcused absences for the current school year.

Exhibit strong leadership skills, dependability, initiative, discipline, and enthusiasm.
The Student Ambassador Program is designed to empower students to develop their leadership potential while making a positive impact on their school and community. It is a proud tradition at Tharptown Elementary, fostering responsibility, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
