The Student Ambassador Program at Tharptown Elementary School offers a unique leadership opportunity for students who are passionate about representing their school and serving their community. Student Ambassadors take an active role in organizing and participating in service-learning projects, as well as assisting with a variety of school and community events.
 
Qualifications for Becoming a Student Ambassador
To be eligible for the Student Ambassador Program, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Be a current 5th or 6th-grade student at Tharptown Elementary School.
  • Maintain a record of academic excellence with all A’s or B’s on the previous school year’s final report card.
  • Have no more than five tardies in the current school year.
  • Maintain a perfect record of no unexcused absences for the current school year.
  • Exhibit strong leadership skills, dependability, initiative, discipline, and enthusiasm.
The Student Ambassador Program is designed to empower students to develop their leadership potential while making a positive impact on their school and community. It is a proud tradition at Tharptown Elementary, fostering responsibility, teamwork, and a commitment to excellence.
