Buses
Arrival
School buses begin their routes around 6:40 a.m. After arriving at school with students, buses will wait in the designated bus line until it is their turn to unload. Bus unloading begins at 7:35 a.m., with three to four buses unloading at a time until all buses have unloaded their students. After dropping off elementary students, buses will then proceed to the high school to drop off high school students.
Departure
Bus loading begins around 2:40 p.m. Once all elementary students have been accounted for and loaded on their assigned buses, the buses will travel to the high school to pick up high school students before starting their afternoon routes.

Cars
Arrival
The morning car line begins alongside the playground and extends to just before the bus lane. Several staff members will be outside to help guide traffic and ensure student safety. At approximately 7:35 a.m., staff will direct vehicles to move forward down the hill toward the high school. Cars should continue until stopped by the staff member positioned at the bottom of the hill. Students may exit the vehicle once their car is in line on the hill. There will be one continuous line of cars during arrival. The line will not split into two lanes at any time. For student safety, traffic cones and staff members will help maintain a designated walking lane. For safety reasons, students should not exit vehicles until the car has reached the hill unless a staff member provides other instructions. Once students have exited the vehicle and safely entered the walking lane, cars may continue forward and exit the campus. For additional guidance, please review the graphic above that illustrates our bus lane and car line layout.
Departure
Car riders will be dismissed after all buses have departed. The afternoon car line will form alongside the playground and extend to just before the bus lane. Staff members will be outside to guide traffic and assist with the process. Once buses have left campus, staff will direct vehicles to proceed down the hill toward the high school until stopped. At that point, the car line will split into two lanes, beginning with the left lane followed by the right lane. Staff members will direct drivers to the appropriate lane. Vehicles that have not yet reached the hill will remain in a single line until directed otherwise. Once all vehicles are stopped, students will be allowed to load into their cars if their vehicle is within the designated loading area determined by staff. After staff confirm that all visible students are safely loaded, the car line will move forward, beginning with the left lane, allowing loaded cars to exit the campus. The process will then repeat for the next group of vehicles. For additional guidance, please review the graphic above that illustrates our bus lane and car line layout.
IMPORTANT!
Parents are not permitted to park on campus, exit their vehicles, or enter the buildings with students during arrival or departure. School staff will be present to assist students and ensure they safely reach their destination.
